Kate Walkup, Sports Editor
Kate is a senior and media studies major from Eugene, Ore. Kate is a member of the women’s swim team at Linfield and enjoys spending hours in the pool. She also spends time outside running, hiking and paddle boarding and runs the Cascade Lakes Relay every summer with her family.
This summer, Kate interned with TrackTown USA as a communications intern where she gained reporting experience by writing stories at the Track and Field Olympic Trials. In addition to being the sports editor for The Linfield Review, Kate also manages the social media pages for the swim team and is a part of Alpha Phi sorority.
