Shirley Warlick, a Sodexo employee at Dillin for 17 years, died May 21. She was 75. Services will be held at the Chapel of Macy & Son on May 27 at 11 a.m.
Warlick made a deep impression on the staff of Sodexo during her time at Linfield, and many employees said she would be missed.
“She was more than a friend,” Patricia Leaks, another longtime employee of Dillin, said. “She was like a sister to me.”
Staff also said she loved her job, especially because of the students.
“She loved interacting with the students,” Veronica Smith, a supervisor at Dillin, said.
Warlick was a stay-at-home mother before she began working at Dillin in 1993.
