Masks will now be required for all individuals–regardless of vaccination status–inside Linfield University buildings on both campuses. This was announced in the email newsletter, Linfield Ahead, on Thursday afternoon.

The policy goes into effect Friday, Aug. 13 and is in compliance with statewide indoor masking guidance. 

There are some exceptions to universal indoor masking–including within an individual’s residence, while eating or drinking, and while showering. The full masking policy is available here. 

Outdoors on campus, face coverings are not required for fully-vaccinated Linfield community members unless a specific event requires otherwise. Unvaccinated individuals and all guests must wear face coverings outdoors if appropriate distance can’t be maintained.
