Kaden’s Komments: Dos and don’ts of fall

Kaden Gass, Staff Writer

Hello everyone, I hope you’re having an amazing day! It’s September, and you know what that means? That’s right! It’s the season of pumpkin spice lattes and the flu.

Instead of rambling on about some topic that everyone will most likely forget about next week, I decided to try something different and create a fall checklist curated by yours truly. Ladies and gents, I present to you: Kaden’s Fall Do’s and Don’ts.

Kaden’s Fall Do’s and Don’ts

Kaden’s Do’s:

Do– Test out the new Starbucks drink menu and find a drink that suits you and your fall needs.

Do– Check out Oregon’s scenery and everything it has to offer!

Do– Check out the corn mazes and pumpkin patches around McMinnville and be sure to go to Bauman’s Fall festival for their apple cider doughnuts.

Do– Partake in the festive Halloween activities on the Linfield campus.

Do– Go to the casino if Halloween isn’t your thing and have a drink.

Do– Rake leaf piles and jump into them.

Do– Go to Dillin’s Thanksgiving Dinner.

Do– Get your flu shot.

Kaden’s Don’ts:

Don’t- Get addicted to the new fall drinks because they’re 5 dollars for a grande…yikes, don’t be broke.

Don’t– Get lost in a corn maze because you wanted to catch a cute Instagram pic and end up calling 911.

Don’t– Go to the wrong corn maze which turns out to be a haunted one and shit yourself when Michael Myers chases you.

Don’t– Go to the casino if you’re not of age and boring.

Don’t– Get hit by a squirrel’s acorn (it happens more than you think).

Don’t– Go to any other dinner at Dillin besides the Thanksgiving one.

Don’t– Give the flu to me.
