Phi Sigma Sigma throws stuffed animals to give back to the Yamhill County Sheriffs Department. The Linfield sorority put on its first ever teddy bear toss Friday night during halftime of the men’s basketball game against George Fox.

Phi Sigma Sigma’s philanthropy committee head Abi Nelson, sophomore, said the stuffed animals will be kept in the back of the control cars to give to children in tough situations, such as when their parents are being arrested. The event collected 187 total stuffed animals.
