Tuition to increase by 3.5 percent
February 17, 2015
The full-time student tuition at Linfield will increase by 3.5 percent for the 2015-2016 school year if approved by the Board of Trustees, Associate Professor John Syring said during the faculty assembly on Feb. 16.
This year’s tuition is $37,000, and the increase would add $1,300 to those costs for next year. Last year’s increase was 3.06 percent, which was the smallest dollar increase in the last decade and the lowest percentage increase since 2003 for the college.
The Board of Trustees meetings will begin on Feb. 19 in Portland and then continue on Feb. 20 and 21 in McMinnville.
