The Wildcats’ season has gone swimmingly.

The men’s and women’s swim teams have beaten the majority of their conference competitors during the regular season. The Northwest Conference Championships are Feb. 9-12 in Federal Way, Wash.

“We are all really excited to show what we can do but also really focused on what needs to get done,” sophomore Lauren Morrison said about going into the conference meet.

This season, the men’s team has grappled with and succeeded against all but the Pacific Lutheran Lutes and the Whitworth Pirates.

The women’s team has only fallen to the Whitman Blues and the Pacific Lutheran Lutes.

With the regular season closed up by a double win from the men’s and women’s team over the Willamette Bearcats, the team is gearing up for the conference championships.

The top racers at the conference championships will later compete at the NCAA Division III Championships.

Leading up to the conference championships, the practices have been geared toward each swimmer’s specialty strokes.
