It’s that time of year again! Delta Psi Delta and Zeta Tau Alpha will be putting on their annual haunted house from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday at 369 SE College Avenue.

“This year’s haunted house is inspired by the popular Halloween movie, Halloweentown. It will also have other themed rooms in the house like clowns, dolls and purgatory,” Stephanie Hofmann, a member of Zeta, said.

“It’s like a scare maze you would see at Halloween horror nights. You take a guided tour through the excellently designed haunted Delta House and ideally get scared,” Lucas Hester, a member of Delta, said.

Members of Delta and Zeta work hard to put on a scary yet enjoyable haunted house for the Linfield community. “We put a lot of work into this event because it’s awesome and super fun, and Halloween is the greatest holiday,” Hester said.

This year the haunt is suitable for a wider range of ages. “Younger children can also come since we have two levels of fright for newer and more experienced haunted house goers,” Hofmann said.

Delta and Zeta encourage the Linfield community to come out and enjoy the haunted house. “It’s a great way to show support for fellow Wildcats while having some fun,” Hofmann said.

Bring two dollars or three cans of food to enjoy this scary haunt. All proceeds will be donated to the Yamhill Community Action Partnership Food Bank.

“Zeta and Delta put on the Haunted House every year because we love showing what can happen when two Greek organizations get together to help the community. It’s a tradition of caring for the community that we hope continues on at Linfield for many years to come,” Hofmann said.
