Review selects 2016-17 editor-in-chief

The Linfield Review has selected a new editor-in-chief for the 2016-2017 school year.

Amantha Hood, ’17, will take over as editor-in-chief next year.

Hood is a mass communication major and has played on the Linfield women’s basketball team.

She hopes to help build and increase the Review’s online presence as well as connect with other student newspapers in the Northwest Conference.

Professor and Department Chair of Mass Communication Lisa Weidman, Professor of Mass Communication and advisor to the Review Brad Thompson, and the Review’s current editor-in-chief, Jonathan Williams, ‘17, interviewed Hood for the position.

Michaela Fujita, ’17, was also interviewed for the position.

Hood was the editor-in-chief of Central Catholic High School’s student newspaper, The Rampart, and has experience in layout design, writing, and editing.
